This pleasant day trip begins as early as you like at San Carlos Airport. Golden Gate Helicopters’ Clipper will fly you and a companion or two (perfect for a spouse and kids while the business traveler is in meetings) southwards along the east side of the coastal hills over the tony neighborhoods of Woodside and Los Altos Hills. Tucked into the rolling hills are beautiful homes surrounded by small vineyards, tennis courts, stables, and swimming pools. You’ll cross over the Santa Clara Mountains close to Highway 17 and pass toward Monterey Bay over Santa Cruz. If the day is pleasant, you’ll circle the Bay toward Monterey Airport, surrounded by the distinctive Monterey pines and the beautiful seacoast of what the locals call “the southern part of Northern California.”

At the airport, a car will pick you up for a short drive to the world-famous Monterey Bay Aquarium, where you’ll visit as a VIP. We’ll provide a quick lunch at the Aquarium café, or if you’d like to stroll down Cannery Row, you can make your own arrangements for lunch. When you’re ready to return, just give your driver a call, and we’ll meet you at Monterey Airport for the quick flight back to the San Francisco Bay area.
